Good morrow, young scholars. By popular vote, we explore another card from Return of the Duelist. Today's selection is a powerful new Xyz monster named
Fairy King Albinoverde Fairy King Albverdich. Sorry if I make some mistakes, this card's name is hard to remember.

EARTH Rank 4
[Plant/Xyz/Effect]
2 Level 4 EARTH monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all non-EARTH monsters currently on the field lose 500 ATK and DEF.
ATK/2300 DEF/1400
Besides his name being really hard to pronounce, what are some of the features of this card? A Rank 4 Xyz monster with a stable 2300 ATK, and a summon requirement of 2 EARTH monsters. His effect returns the favor to his EARTH pals, by reducing the stats of all other Attributes by a nice 500, allowing
Allpinebirch to attack over monsters like Stardust Dragon and Caius the Shadow Monarch.
Absentminded is limited in his usage though, pretty much being restricted to EARTH-based decks. Of course, with his effect, EARTH decks can use him best. In particular, he can be used in Geargias, which are all EARTH monsters that pride themselves in their ability to bring out Rank 4 monsters. They can simply pull him out by flipping their Geargiarmor to activate its effect and grab a Geargiaccelerator from the Deck to be Special Summoned. In fact, they can use that combo to bring out Gear Gigant X (a fellow REDU alumnus) and use its effect to add a second Geargiaccelerator to their hand. Since their Normal Summon hasn't been used yet, they can Normal Summon any Level 4 Geargia monster, then Special Summon the accelerator and Xyz for
AloeVera. With that, you've essentially lost no card advantage but now have 2 powerful Xyz monsters on the field, with the advantage to overpower just about any monster in the meta.
Appleseed can also be made use of in Gadget decks, which are also notorious for their ability to bring out Rank 4 monsters. With Ultimate Offering at 1, their Xyz Summoning capabilities are damaged, but with proper protection (or by using Double Summon), they can pull out
AbeLincoln and run over most anything. Scrap decks are another contender for using this card, being able to Special Summon any of their Level 4 Scraps from the Grave with Scrap Chimera; essentially summoning
Alvaro with one card.
Fairy King
AlPacino also sees some fun in the REDU-enhanced Rock deck. Since they run high ATK and DEF monsters like Koa'ki Meiru Guardian and Legendary Jujitsu Master, they can bring out the King when necessary. Gogogo Giant is ridiculous in its Xyz Summoning power though and can garner the proper materials in a similar (though more restricted) way to Scrap Chimera. Rock decks also allow
Alistair"MadEye"Moody to cover one of his weakpoints, which are high ATK monsters summoned on the opponent's turn that can destroy him. Since he has no built-in protection,
AllTimeLow can rely on Catapult Zone to keep him safe until next turn, when he can use his effect again to take out his foes. Block Golem also is good friends with
Ab-CrunchingWorkouts. Golem will provide the necessary materials for the Xyz monster, with
JudgeDredd being an EARTH Xyz monster that will not upset Block Golem's strict Grave requirements.
Asphalt is an excellent addition to EARTH decks, being one of few good EARTH Xyz monsters to actually exist (most of the good ones being from Return of the Duelist, lol). He's surely a card that you'll see in topping decks. And when that happens, you'll remember Fairy King
AzarethMetreonZinthos.
Usability: 8/10, a worthwhile addition to any EARTH deck, but not one that revolutionizes a deck like Gear Gigant does.
Art: 7/10, he looks bored. Name jokes probably don't fly with him very well. Either that or he doesn't like being an elf.
