Revival Golem's instant use is in a Lightsworn or Synchrocentric deck (with a Lightsworn engine). Since these decks can mill a lot of cards easily, they're highly likely to send Revival Golem to the Graveyard. Being a Level 4 with great DEF, Revival Golem acts as a great defense for your opponent's turn (since, if he was sent to the Grave by a Lightsworn's effect at the End Phase, you'll likely be open). In a mill deck though, Revival Golem essentially has most of Wulf's old tricks, like returning him to the Deck with Plaguespreader Zombie and purposely using the effect of a card like Foolish Burial, Gallis the Star Beast or Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter to mill him out and get a Special Summon.
Revival Golem distinguishes itself from Wulf in a few ways though. One, it's not a Lightsworn. Second, and more importantly, it's a Rock-Type. With the vast amount of Rock and EARTH support provided in REDU, Revival is able to team with cards like Block Golem and Dust Knight. He works best with Catapult Zone though, allowing the controller to protect one of their monsters from battle, while sending Revival Golem to the Graveyard and activating its effect - essentially a free +1 along with saving a monster. You can then use him in the next turn for an Xyz Summon. You can also use him with Rock Bombardment as a quick Defense with some meh burn damage.
Once Golem is sent to the Grave, you can use Pot of Avarice to grab him back too, allowing more Catapult Zone abuse. Other than that, you can summon him with Catapult Zone, then wait until your opponent ends his/her turn and use Next to Be Lost, which will let you mill another Golem to Special Summon it. In the new turn, you can get out a Rank 4 monster.
Generally, when Revival Golem is milled, one will Special Summon it. However, it does have its uses in being added to the hand. You can use it to fill the conditions of fellow Rock-Types Koa'ki Meiru Guardian and Koa'ki Meiru Sandman. In-hand, he can also act as a discard cost. Tragoedia makes a lot of use of this card too, giving it an added 600 ATK and allowing a Level 4 monster to send to grab an opposing monster. Once it's in the Graveyard, it can be used for Special Summonable monsters such as Gigantes and Gigastone Omega.
Golem suffers slightly from his restriction to one a turn. Being able to only activate Revival Golem once a turn, and noting his lack of uses once drawn, it's best to not run too many copies of this card. Generally, 1-2 will let you plus significantly and keep the chance of dead drawing low.
Revival Golem doesn't necessarily do anything new, but it covers things Wulf didn't.
Usability: 7/10, not necessary in every Rock Stun or Lightsworn deck, but a decent addition that has some cool uses
Art: 5/10, looks like Clayface
