There are to be NO topics here other than ones created by the CotD staff.  Othere topics WILL be deleted with all posts afterward.

Also, posters spamming, flaming, etc. here will be fined 20 XC bux per offense.  If repeat offenses occur, the poster shall have a greater punishment.

All replies must contain a rating, analysis, and other decent critiques of the card presented.

Some people don't seem to understand that, before posting in topics, the stickied topics are a couple of topics that should be read.

On top of that, since this is CotD, some people don't really know what "spamming" in such topics are defined as.

Spamming in CotD:
Not providing analysis and/or ratings with your review. Critiques are optional, but the other two are a must. You are not giving thirty-second reviews; you have to think out the playability of the card(s).

For example, acceptable reviews might look be formatted like this (content-wise):
  • Couple of pros and situations where it can work in your favor very well
  • Downsides to the card, perhaps cards that it won't work effectively against
  • Ratings (numberwise, be it out of 5, 10 or whatever scale you want to use)
This is okay.

Spam include the following:
  • "This card sucks. Don't play it."
  • "This card rules. It should be in every deck."
  • "This card is only good with (insert other card here)" (without anything else that adds to it)
  • A short comment that has already been brought up in previous posts + a rating
  • Replies that don't add substance to the discussion (such as gibberish, stuff in a foreign language, flaming, etc.)
However, if a review is good but just happens to leave out one of the things, that's okay. Also, replies that answer to previous posts (such as a small dispute whether or not the card works with another card) are okay as well.

In the past, I'd have to admit that the mods have been pretty lenient with CotD enforcement. However, I'm going to start keeping my eye on reviews here. And I will enforce Riku's fine ruling on top of everything else. So if you think you can get away with a couple of sloppy reviews here and there, don't be surprised when you see your XCB docked a bit the next day.
