Hello everyone! =)

I'm Nicolas from Montréal, Canada. I just recently got back into playing Yu-Gi-Oh and I've been searching for a way to play the game online to test some deck strategies. I found this game called Yu-Gi-Oh Virtual Dueling and that's how I ended up here!

I study 2D animation and my main hobbies are drawing, role playing and building model kits. I really got in Yu-Gi-Oh in early 2008 and I have been playing it on and off since then.

It's a pleasure to meet you all! I look forward to dueling any of you ;)

Hey, welcome!

Unfortunately (always a good way to start off a conversation, isn't it?), YVD or Yugioh Virtual Dueling hasn't been running for a while now. Most of the people that used it eventually shifted to Dueling Network, but now that that's been taken down, none of us have a way of duelling either. At this point I'd love to point you to a different online duelling platform, but most have been shut down due to legal issues.

Unfortunately it seems that duelling online is temporarily unavailable at all. Konami should be releasing a (paid) platform soon, I think we all just have to wait for that.

Once again, sorry about this, and for any time you may have spent on installing.

As a community, we just tend to discuss what goes on and bounce ideas off each other. This forum is pretty old. You can tell that because I moved your post from the archive section to here. How many forums have an archive section? That said, the members that visit now are just a small handful of people who never quite stopped getting along.

Your hobbies fit in quite well with the rest of ours. Even though YVD is down, if you do decide to stick around, you're more than welcome here. :)
