Weekly Create-A-Card Contest!
Welcome to the weekly create-a-card contest!
Congratulations to RiverShock, who won the contest on 11/29 with Destruction Virus Dragon! Something of a successor to the Doom Virus Dragon, the Destruction Virus Dragon is a Fang of Critias-specific fusion summoned with Virus Cannon that is immune to Spell Card effects much like Horus LV6. It also serves a similar purpose to MTG's Cranial Extraction by banishing every copy of a named card your opponent owns whenever it deals damage to your opponent.
For winning this contest, RiverShock, you may pick 3 packs from pre-synchro era or 1 pack from pre-xyz era to add to your collection. Everyone else who entered, as thanks for participating, you may each also pick 1 pack from pre-synchro era to add to your collection.
- Each member may submit up to one card each week.
- Each round of the contest will last for one week.
- The cards entered in a previous week's contest will be placed in a poll during the new week's contest.
- Comments on the cards up for voting are encouraged, but not required
- The winner of a round gets to decide the next open theme for the contest.
- Be creative!
This Week's Contenders
Last week's theme was "Make a 'Pot of' Normal Spell Card".
This week's theme, chosen by RiverShock, is to make a Flip monster. Flip monsters have been around since the good old days of Legend of Blue-Eyes, when Man-Eater Bugs and Hane-Hane were actually quite powerful. The times have changed, but over the years, flip effects have managed to remain relevant in the competitive scene, whether it be stand-alone cards like Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo, one monster in an archetype like Ryko, or an entire archetype like the Shadoll's.
Create a Flip monster.
