Haiku by nasht-01

Welcome to the Bi-weekly Haiku Contest!
Why haikus? The ease of writing and brevity make the haiku a perfect form for competition's sake, and are interesting and fun to both write and read. Here's a quick blurb if you'd like to read more.
Also, if you happened to have been a judge for the Jan 2 contest, if you could pm me your chosen winner, I'll add it to the previous winners list.

The Rules

  • Each round lasts 2 weeks.
  • Each member can enter up to 2 haiku per round and alter them anytime before the contest ends.
  • Haikus must follow the 5-7-5 format.
  • After each round, a poll will be included in the next round's contest thread.
  • The top two voted haikus will be recorded on the list of Previous Winners.

Previous Winners

*A note of apology to Eel; I should have seen it and warned you before the contest was over, but your poem wan't in 5-7-5 format, and thus was disqualified.

The first haiku on the poll does not have the work "like" for the middle verse.

Farming, Q-stacking,

Non-stop under the tower:

Late-game Q-wracking.

The link makes perfect sense. I don't see what there is to NOT get.

Hai/kus / have / three / lines.
Count / the / syl/la/bles / and / see.
It's / Five/-sev/en-/five.

Technically there are other restrictions should it be in Japanese,
but apparently English haiku doesn't worry about it as much.
