A message from our friendly neighborhood League moderators:

Hello friends and assorted unicorns.

To revive the all-but-defunct Yu-Gi-Oh! League, several changes are going to be implemented to renew interest (no, you will not be receiving cookies for winning).

To allow more time for points to be gained, the YGO Cup will be held every 3 months. Also, wins/losses/points will no longer be wiped away at the end of each month, but rather at the end of each Yu-Gi-Oh! Format (March and September of each year, for anyone who doesn't know); all records garnered as of now will be added to League scores permanently.

Divisions will also see a shake-up. To reach Division 2 you must accrue 15 points. For Division 3 you will need 30. And, for the newly added Division 4, you'll need 45 points. Division 4 works the same as all other divisions, but defeating a player from there will give you 4 points and it's prettier than all the other divisions.

Have fun and happy dueling.

P.S. MBP will totally get fired if you guys don't start League Dueling more D:

And still I remain with rustled jimmies after the first set of changes. :K But that's just because I play for fun and don't run competitive decks.

Mods, Y U NO USE "Paste as Plain Text"?

@Kakashi, my decks aren't that competitive either, and look at my records this season! </stealth brag>

I couldn't figure it out on my MAC. :(

But I fixed, I think.

Thanks. (:

But that is an option from this reply box:
(smiley | my media | find | replace | undo | redo | copy | paste | paste as plain text)

There's also a rubber at the top left of the post box.. Highlight everything and it becomes plain text too..

ANYWAY, hopefully more people will be online. It's weird how it becomes less active now that OCG is allowed.. Even though I always use OCG..

The theory is that the point reset was why it dropped off. People don't like having to re-earn their way back to the top.

Just a side note, what really killed it for me was "Now you can make your own rules". I don't know if there are some people that attempt to play with some whacky rules or not, but to be honest, just the fact that you can specify "LolOCG" completely kills any fun for me. Yes, I know I can ignore it. But if I ignore it, chances are, I won't find another match for awhile, and as a result, I'll be missing out on points, etc. etc.

But they'll miss out on the same stuff if/when you decline, Kakashi. Has it actually happened yet, or did you just stop dueling? O.o

^This.

By assuming you won't get a match, you're implying that your opponent will decide not to duel if you don't accept their conditions. People are flexible and understanding (well, generally). Worst case scenario, you'll never League Duel Jesse again.

True. Although I can always use Nordics. And hey, everything'll be coming out soon anyway.
