I was a bit bummed as well, though with DN out, I doubt I'll get the next DS game. I always just game sharked all the cards so I could test a bunch of decks anyway.

1) The 3DS isnt a bad buy lol Plus, I think the new Pokemon games are gonna be it, so you know you want it.

I will get it eventually. I want to be able to use synchros & xyzs to the full extent with unbending rules. My most recent yugioh game is World Championship 2008 for DS. That goes up to GX. (No Chess piece Archfiends.

No need to run from truth buddy. I love Nintendo, but I will give the PSP this, the games are FAR better. I just wish they'd move away from the Friendship thing. But, the cardpools are better, the processing is faster, the AI doesnt suffer from it, and overall the Chibi style and worlds look just far more crisper, along with the anime style characters while dueling. The DS 3D models all look... like frankly something the N64 threw up. They're ugly and horribly rendered.... and the giant lag with processing REALLY does stink. Kinda likely why gameing mediums prefer CDs over cartridge... smoother processing.
Not to mention overall, the Tag Force games are just superior when it comes to graphics and eye pleasing. Not often something I focus on, but god, I hate those DS character molds so much lol. But the faster processing does win it the most for me.

Very interesting theory there. Namely because the best methods of countering it, are typical mainstays in most competitive decks. Not saying you can't be right, but honestly, I'd put Dino Rabbit as a Dark Horse in this one.
Another Dark Horse prediction I'd make, is Gladiator Beasts. I dunno... just a strange feeling I get I suppose.

Cant be true: 2008 Had Skull Archfiend of Lightning. Chess Piecers have that same ability.

Well, I will say this for an arguement of 3DS over Vita, Nintendo KNOWS what it wants to do with the 3DS. Currently Sony made the Vita, put it out there... and no one wanted it. I mean, other than Uncharted, the game line up is piss poor at best, to the extent half the time you cant even FIND games for it. Leaving Sony for some reason, confused as what to do with Vita. They keep trying to market it as a mobile PS3, a second screen thing for it, which VS Smartglass and the Wii U Gamepad, it fails.
Of course, thats only for at the moment. Depends on when your in the market for the newest Handheld. If its sooner than later, 3DS is the way to go. Full backwards compatibitliy with your DS games (sadly not GBA), and a true focus on GAMES, its the smart buy.
BUT, as the PSP showed, Vita's life span can show its true light much later from its launch date. Like for me, my wife got me a PSP early on in our relationship, because it was the only video game thing I didnt have, that she could afford. And being the guy I am, I had to play happy and excited (when deep down I was "Great, what the hell do I do with this thing?). Also, didn't help that the only game she got was Marvel fighting game. I'm ok with fighting games, but not really the type of games that can keep me interested for long. It kinda spent alot of time collecting dust, until I picked up Star Ocean and Final Fantasy. THen the Yugioh games lol. And of course, Birth By Sleep. But those were like a year or two AFTER I got the thing lol

I pulled the list from Yugioh Wikia. I'm not really sure why the tokens are listed, but I'm not going to argue it.
And I've heard of some of the cards that you highlighted. They're extremely rare, but I haven't the slightest clue where they come from. I'm sure with some research, we could figure it out.

The Match winners are the prize cards for Worlds. They're all Ultra Rare, and there's only 1 copy on existance of each one in the whole world.
Usually, you see them in pairs (take Xexex and Eternia for example, they were given out on the same championship). The one with the higher stats goes for the first place and the one with lower stats goes for the second.
You'll see that some of them are missing (specifically Aggiba, the Malevolent Sh'nn S'yo, Chimaera, the Master of Beasts,Testament of the Arcane Lords, Tyr, the Vanquishing Warlord and Victory Dragon). This is because they were reprinted as Super Rares and given out to all Worlds attendants as participant cards. All the reprints of these have "REPLICA" where the card edition goes (instead of Limited Edition or 1st Edition, the card says "Replica" to show it's not the original one).
And as you know already, Victory Dragon was actually reprinted for popular use, and it's currently forbidden in Advanced Format.
