Card Text » Whenever Dusk Urchins attacks or blocks, put a -1/-1 counter on it.

When Dusk Urchins dies, draw a card for each -1/-1 counter on it.

• 5/1/2008: The -1/-1 counter is put on Dusk Urchins during the declare attackers or declare blockers step, whichever is appropriate, so it will be smaller by the time combat damage is dealt. (Note that this is different from how the _Shadowmoor_ card Wicker Warcrawler works.)
  
• 5/1/2008: If Dusk Urchins has just 1 toughness when it blocks, it will get a -1/-1 counter and be put into the graveyard. The creature that it blocked remains blocked, however.

Yeah, it's a solid card. 3 power and 4 life for 3 is already cool. Add Persist and works with Hybrid W/G mana on that deal and it's just so much sweeter. There's not much to say about this tho, it's a very solid body for a very solid cost. Apparently, there are also some combos to get inflnite life with this, but that's just pointless because any combos that does so works in other Persisting creatures as well.

Anyway. Very solid beater. I'm not particularly crazy about this, but I could see why ppl would be.

Back in the days of shadowmore or whater eventide block set it came out fo this was a 4 of... and won alot of torniments. But eventually lost to bitter blossum. nuff said really.
