To make up for college kicking my butt, I'll be once again doing OCG COTD's for 6 days in a week. Sunday's off, so um, cool.

In this week's new OCG COTD, I'll give you a for rookie's perspective on how the Gishkis got better in due time. Duel Terminal 12, during the birthday of ZEXAL, got standard Xyz's for one to play with, but the mysterious Gishki Shadow got a broski.

If you Special Summon a WATER Ritual Monster, this 1 card can be used as the entire Tribute. Discard this card to add 1 Gishki Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand.

A partner of crime indeed, Vision can be used as a whole tribute for a EviGishki Ritual summon, but here's a kicker. Like Gishki Shadow, who can be dropped to the graveyard for one to grab Aquamirror, Vision can do the same thing for one to grab any Gishki Ritual monster. Salvage is a accomplice, giving Vision and Shadow another chance to call out their EviGishki masters. While not as beefy in ATK or LV, a Gishki Beast summon can prompt one for a Gustkrake Ritual summon.

That said, review away!!

Yeah, I BACK!!!

Yeah, don't think there's much to say about this. This guy + Shadow amounts to a free Ritual whenever you draw Salvage. To top it off, he's a Diva target and adds toolboxing to the already powerful deck type, while Shadow only adds means to pick the Mirror once you shuffle it back.
One might argue that Shadow is slightly more important on the long run because there aren't that many ways to recycle the Evigishkis to the deck, but Gishkis are becoming each day more explosive, so y'know what? Screw that. He's an awesome Tribute either way.

A staple in every Gishki deck forever and ever.
