As the topic probably gives away, I am resigning from my position as Administrator effectively immediately.

To squash any theories or rumors: this is not the result of the whole JDS situation and never was. I do regret some of the rash decisions I made when everything first unfolded, but that's not the reason I'm resigning.

My reason is that I just can't put in the time commitment that would be fair to the community. With college graduation coming up my free time will be restricted even more than it is (I took an extended leave because of schoolwork), so I want this position to be in the hands of someone who can better benefit the community.

However, I will be continuing to run the IRC network until alternative hosting is prepared. At that time, I will remove myself from all administrative duties. Effective immediately I will be removing my own administrative abilities on the forums and as a member of the administration.

Thank you all for supporting XC over the years. I will make an effort to make an appearance every so often. I will never actually leave.

It's sad to see you go Master.  I never really talked much with you, but I know of all of the various things you've done for XC, a lot of it being behind the scenes.  So, I wanted to make sure to thank you for all that you have contributed here.  I hope that everything you do in life turns out well, and make sure you do keep coming back here.   Good luck with graduation and everything, hope to see you very soon.
