Gren's Thoughts » So, here is the first Multicolor angel that was revealed. 5/5 with Hexproof and Flyer. Mmk, not bad at all. The secondary ability is very good against black and red... and Eldrazi with their annihilator. Overall she isn't terrible, but the other two angels I will be reviewing are way better IMO.

No, the other 2 are better. Sigarda just doesn't really die much. The others actually do stuff.

I figured he was implying that Buttercup is the worst of the group, considering this is the worst of the 3.  If you're going by color, then yeah, this is Buttercup.  If you're going by usefulness, this is Bubbles.

Hence why I said "if you're going by color," duh.

It is a pretty neat card though, definitely has its uses, but its not overwhelming or anything.

Sigarda is the best for standard; 5/5 Flying for 5 that basically doesn't die to anything short of a Wrath. She suffers from not having a home, though.

Gisela is the best at everything except name. God, that name is awful.

She dies to -X/-X too, as long as it doesn't target.

And Hallowed Burial, but that isn't exactly dying.

Green one = best fighter and most competitively costed. This one will actually see play in some formats, and possibly even standard.
Red one = leader and most powerful effects with a focus on buffing your whole field.
Blue one = silly and fun but doesn't really care about winning a fight.

Power Puff Girls flavor get. Oh, and Grieslbrand is Mojo Jojo.

Bruna is actually REALLY good in EDH, just not in Standard. She sucks in Standard.

I can't imagine Bubbles being better than the current aura commanders who have more colors, less casting cost, and can get aura from deck instead of graveyard. Also, please call them by their actually rememberable PPG names instead of the nonsense nouns WotC made for them. It's a lot easier to remember "Bubbles = the fun blue one" than "Bruna = the aura powered angel".

Uril can't get auras from anywhere, and if Uril and Zur don't kill before "Bubbles" hits the field, they pretty much have to scoop immediately. Since Uril is 5 cost and Zur generally favors keeping Auras alive before dealing significant damage, it's not likely that they'll kill by turn 6.

Though I'd agree Uril and Zur are probably better against other decks, they simply can't do much against "Bubbles."
