DT14-JPB01 The Sacred Omega
Beast-Warrior LIGHT Rank 4 [2400/500]
2x Level 4 Light Monster
Once per turn: Detatch 1 Xyz Material from this card; All face-up "The Sacred" monsters you control cannot be affected by the effects of Spell or Trap cards. You can activate this effect during your opponent's turn.

Lore: Dark Evangel
Pic: YGOWikia

Can work in a typical Sacred deck, but LS can use this.

Bad news: at June, Konami will release a Duel Terminal that's not new, but rather, a cabinet filled with reprints of the cards that were originally out in DT01 (Except the 4 cards related to Cyber Dragon, Kuriboh and Neos, Konami took those out), 02, 03 and 12. Storekeepers in Japan who have Duel Terminals were supposed to keep quiet on this rumor, but at February of 2013, Duel Terminals will be discontinued. Plus, the recent announcement of a 'Numbers' Guide releasing a card version of #40: Gimmick Puppet - Heaven's Strings (Giant Killer's brother card), will deem this card reviewed today the LAST Duel Terminal promo outside the cabinets, ever.

Considering how I've been forgetful on Duel Terminal cards during the past months, this could be a good opportunity for me to post some of the stuff I've missed on posting for this place.

That said, have fun reviewing this officially extinct card and NO FLAMES.

Wow, so Verz were so evil they killed DTs? That's really sad - DTs gave us some of the best Archetypes in the game - Every one of the 7 Archetypes from the 2nd DT Gen (Steelswarms/Verz, Vylons, Lavals, Gemks, Gishkis, Gustos and Sacreds) were unique, had incredible potential and still managed to be not lolwtfbroken... the only exception being maybe Lavals. And even before that, DTs gave us some of my favorite Archetypes, like Worms, Genex, Mist Valleys and Ice Barriers, as well as giving YGO a new, expanded universe and a great storyline. It's a severe understatement when I say that I really, really hope they get back to their senses and decide to keep making DTs.

Anyway. On to reviewing this card... There's not much that I can say - this card is insane. In a pure Sacred deck, he'll protect your whole field from all S/Ts for two whole turns! Seriously, many decks can't do jack when facing this card, except either hoping to get lucky with Warning or just Xyz-ing into Utopia or something. I feel sorry for the poor bastard that has to face this and any kind of ATK-boosting. Not surprisingly, Sacreds have plenty of these. Hooray!
But yeah, you can also splash him into pretty much anything LIGHT as well. Lightsworns are just the beginning - everything from Agents to Worms can drop this guy fast, and by doing so not only you get a 2400 beater that's pretty much immune to S/Ts, but it's also the easiest way to Xyz Change into Messier 7, another huge, 2700 ATK powerhouse that can pretty much Reincarnate a monster once per turn. Sure, you'll have to wait a turn to do so, but that won't change the fact that you transformed a monster that can't be affected by most effects into a powerful beater that must be destroyed in 1 turn, or else. That's versatile as hell if you ask me.

All in all, IMO this is a Extra Deck staple in every LIGHT deck that runs Level 4s.
