Was going to do Tyler... but yea, a bit too obvious.

Not something you expected huh? From hence forth, I declare Fridays "Freaky Fridays" (I know not very original). Fridays will be a day where you can explore your inner creativity and bring something new. Fridays will feature OCG (Official Card Game), CCG (Created Card Game), and others you won't expect (It might still include current cards, but it won't be what you expect). Your mission: Discuss this cards effect and how it could affect todays game, or post some interesting combos.

Oh hello Shark Drake V.01.

It's not too bad a card at all. Play in Rock Stun, laugh as they attempt to keep a decent field.

Not bad, easy to bring out. Problem is, even though it has double attacks, it has the problem of only having 2400 atk. If it had 2500 it would be so much better. As is, it could easily keep your opponent from gaining field advantage.

4/5 cause you are using your opponent's monster for the fusion

The fusion card is pretty insane imo.  2400 is fine too since of course everything will always be better with higher attack (unless you want it just for sangan or any of the 1500 atk searchers/summoners lol).  2400 is enough to get over Brionac and take both of Zenmaines' materials (or kill him if he doesnt have 2 when this card first attacks).  It can also get over some of the better xyzs (obviously not utopia or laggia) in dolkka, leviair, blade armor ninja, occasional giga-brilliant (with 0-1 boost), 2 materials (or kill) gachi gachi, occasional shock master, and not to mention it will run over pretty much anything that isn't special summoned so if the opponent is drawing 17-1900 atk creatures w/o defensive cards you can overrun them no problem.

The thing with this is that there are more Fusions. One for Lv 4 or lower, one for 5-6, one for 7 and higher IIRC. So Fossil Fusion would be so awesome if it existed.

It's hard to rate this only, because the real gem is Fossil Fusion. And since Koa'ki Meirus exist, alongside Dyna and Jujitsu, Fossil Fusion would be SO GOOD if it existed.

I guess they didn't make those because it'd be too powerful to have generic "free" fusions just for running Rocks... And then they made the Omni-HEROes.

If these cards weren't GX-old, I could see them being made. BTW, I'll rate only Fossil Fusion, since it's the key card: the actual fusions would be just as good if they were effectless because they'd be free big beaters you could gain by negating your opponent's stuffs with Koa'ki Meirus xD

Traditional: 3/10 The actual Koa'ki Meirus are rather annoying, but they'd be too slow.
Advanced: 9/10 Fossil Fusion and the Fusions would be really good for Rock Stun. I mean, HEROes have Super Fusion, why Rock's can't have this?
Art: 3/10 Eh, kind of boring.
Trivia: Jim's cards never made it into the OCG/TCG, except for like 2 or 3. And then they're given broken effects, like Gaia Plate or Fossil Dyna.

I'll stick with my Dark Calling and Dark Gaia.

Though honestly, the summoning condition on these guys are so much easier to fulfill.
If given the choice, I guess I probably WOULD make the switch.
