The Last Warrior from Another Planet
Attrib: Earth
Type: Warrior/Effect/Fusion
Level:7
Atk: 2350
Def: 2300
"Zombyra the Dark" + "Maryokutai" When this card is Special Summoned, destroy all monsters on your side of the field except this card. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, both player cannot Summon(including Flip Summon or Special Summon) any monster.

Notable Rulings:

-You can still Set while "The Last Warrior from Another Planet" is face-up on the field.

-This card may be Tributed to Tribute Summon a Level 5 or higher monster.

-Neither player can activate "Scapegoat", "Magical Hats", "Monster Reborn", etc.

His homeworld faced a 5 year civil war between the factions of every race. The cause was lost in the politics that caused the once great planted to wither and die. Created mainly to fight other creatures and kill... this monster was born.

This guy is one of the few old-school fusions you can claim is actually worth fusing for.

Its materials are actually usable, but Maryokutai is kinda meh actually, seeing as it's mostly deadweight and it will be ran over before you use its effect. Zombyra on the other hand is pretty good. Searchable by RotA, 2100 attacker which lowers to 1900 and 1700 (both still decent), good for Devastation Virus and Skill Drain.

Anyways, onto the actual Fusion. The best way to approach it is Zombyra + Fusion substitutes, the usual being The Earth - Hex Sealed Fusion and King of the Swamp.

Once you -2 yourself by bringing out this guy, you lose your whole field. In exchange, no one can summon anything. Both players can still set though.

The old school plan was to just drop this, play Light of Intervention and pray you didn't hit Mirror Force or anything while smacking your opponent, or using Burn xD

Nowadays, with so many prevention cards, you might as well just do Final Countdown and win by sitting on this guy and doing nothing xD

The value of this card is the lock it provides. "No Summoning" is a really potent effect, but we have way too many removal. Safe Zone is definitely useful at keeping this guy alive.

If you can keep this monster alive long enough, it's pretty much GG. Even more if you win through unconventional means, like FINAL, Exodia, Burn or Countdown.

Traditional: 5/10 The fact it does shut down lots of stuff and that thanks to over9000 drawing spells is easier to grab, it gets a somewhat decent score for a Fusion.

Advanced: 8/10 in a dedicated build. It's a really potent effect, well worth the minus.

Art: 7/10 Not that impressive.

no smmons, drop turn 1, activate safezone/ royal decree, and just smash repeatedly.. aso is ummonable from grave so yeah this could be interesting.

i love the effect, would probably be forbidden if it just stopped your opponent from summoning.... still you can set and if your opponent sets a destroying card like ryko..... well, hope you can somehow negate it. i would like to build a deck just for it. especially cause i know someone still trying to run a flip summon deck.... lol but it's nice just sucks that you lose your monsters.

3/5 cause it's good but you lose a lot.... and it doesn't get rid of your opponent's monsters

Yeah, like Rothon said, Royal Decree + this card would be boss. And if you run into a destruction effect/Spell, hey, there's always Forbidden Chalice and Forbidden Lance....

One of the best locks in the game is this guy + dark simorgh, but it's hard to pull off since dark simorgh is special summoned.  You have to use book of moon on last warrior from another planet, summon simorgh, then flip summon warrior.  It's a pretty strong lock if you can pull it off :)

You can even use My Body as a Shield to go with Royal Decree, thus stopping up to three Spell-based removals and stopping various non-Warning/Judgment replies to his summon.

The worst thing you can run in to is Book of Moon, very hard to negate.

Someone on #YVD uses a really good deck with this where he locks you down completely. This guy is a killer if done right, and I mean right, if one little error is made in the execution or the opponent messes you up in one step the entire lock will be screwed. 8/10.
