Another way to bring this out is to special summon something, set summoner of illusion, use book of taiyou, tribute the BEUD from summoner of illusions effect to special summon BESD.

You can also dump and reborn using Elemental Hero Prisma and Polymerization.

Rothon the one that says *tribute* to negate was the ANime effect (and possibly some of the first releases of it)
For this one however
your Sacrificing a 4500 Beatstick for a Min 4200 (3BEWD and BEUD) un-targetable Beatstick that gets stronger with more dragons filling your grave
it is Dead too easy and even in fun in-game decks on shiz like Spirit caller i dont run it main reason being there should be no need to with a 4500 Beatsticka t your disposal

in short 3/10 AWESOME card ut Dead too easily and Not even useful in its own deck

okay then, i got one of the early versions so... also yeah nontageting removal would kill this, so watch out for torrential/blackhole/mirrorforce but at any othher point this guys wins so not a bad card, just that summoning him is a pain since you have to have him in the hand to summon when u have beud.

The Anime effect was that, during either player's turn, you could Tribute it to destroy (banish? can't remember) 1 card on the field. He also had a protection effect, but I'm quite sure it was better than this one.

But yeah, this card is just so not worth it. I would rather have BEUD any day - at least he's a Normal Monster which really has its benefits and, oh, doesn't requires any space in your Deck other than a single Poly/Dragon's Mirror. The only thing that made this slightly playable was Summoner of Illusions - but hey, now we have Gaia Drake the Universal Force, which has a only slightly worse protection effect and no buff effect... but again, there's no combo required here. Just flip Illusions and enjoy your 3500 beater.
Oh, if you want that yummy protection effect, no problemo! Just swap this card for a copy of Safe Zone, and you can have pretty much the same effect, only better.
So yeah, this card is really outclassed - always has been. Most of the time, by the very same guy you had to Tribute to Summon this. Isn't that an excellent card design? [/sarcasm]

I had this in a deck built for ALL Blue-eyes.... It was fast, smooth, and could bring out Dragon master knight with serious ease. The issue though, I only remember summoning this less than 10 times in the year + that i used that deck... so yeah.... I ended up using it for some short of discard use way more often. When it did show up though... man that was game, set, match!

3/5 cause for as good as its stats and effects are, just having it in your hand and ultimate on the field at the same time just didn't work out often enough.
