Vampire Lord
Attrib: Dark
Type: Zombie/Effect
Level:5
Atk: 2000
Def: 1500
Each time this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap). Your opponent selects 1 card of that type from their Deck and sends it to the Graveyard. Also, if this card is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, it is Special Summoned to the field during your next Standby Phase.

Notable Rulings:

-When destroyed by a Spell/Trap Card or a Monster Card's effect, the effect activates during the next Standby Phase and starts a chain.

-The effect does not activate when "Vampire Lord" is destroyed by battle.

-The effect only activates and starts a chain when the original owner controls it. It does not activate when the opponent controls it.

-"Royal Oppression" can negate the effect of "Vampire Lord" which Special Summons itself. During the next Standby Phase, the effect of "Vampire Lord" will not activate again.

ummm nice. thin your opponent's deck of stuff. nowadays though that may not be so good... unless you keep picking spell or trap. sending monsters to the grave is no longer a good idea with all the revival and in grave effects... yeah... no.

really Vampire lord is only better cause clearly he has a built in revival. but alas, it must be when destroyed by an opponent's card effect. but you gotta wait til your next standby phase though... but it's much better than none. choices choices choices... that's what it's all about.

vampire lord  3/5 for being a level 5 2000atk and built in revival.... but still not that great. useful but still.
vampire lady 3/5 for having the same basic effect as lord, but being level 4 and 1550 atk/def.... and for just having that odd 1550 stats.... makes it interesting. HA
