Everytime i enter the IRC Basic i always get this :ERROR : Valid name, no data record of requested type
it's been saying that for 2 days what can i do to fix it?

theres a small problem with the DNS right now. in the box where you would normally type messages in to chat type in /server irc.xerocreative.com:6667 and you should be able to connect

it says now attempt to connect time out

try /server void.xerocreative.com:8080

Try this (it's my server's backup DNS): /server omega.masterxc.net:6667

Random guess here; but I'm going to go with you use Windows Vista or Windows 7 and YVD is in your Program Files folder.

I had the exact same error when I was trying to test for solid solutions to the "Vista Bug" back in the day.

I'm having the same problem but,when i try all the addresses above,the connection timed out error appears.
I use window XP,not vista or 7.

2nd edit:just checked the other topic and finally logged in.Sorry for spamming,through.
