REDMD getting hit is a no-brainer. Chaos Dragons, Hieratics... the card was always broken, but now it's really able to show just how broken it is. It should be banned outright IMO, but Konami won't smack it with worse than a Limit.

Will Agents/Fairies/Dark World be hit? How do you guys get an accurate idea of what will be hit in the banlist?

It comes down to two things, as I've stated in an earlier post: metagame analysis (OCG moreso than TCG) and psycho-analysis to try and predict how Konami will act.

D.D.R. is an equip spell card, so it's destroyed when Rabbit is banned again.
Then, the same thing I had criticized: wishing a return for Agents and Blackwings, but still keeping Lonefire Blossom at 1. >_>
Also, some of your hits are too based on TCG, and hitting multiple cards in order to save 1 isn't so healthy (although I see your point on Magician of Faith against OP spells).

@EeL: Mostly, it's just educated guesses based on what cards have been problematic in the last format. There's no real absolutely accurate way of doing it, but you can theorize within a realm of possibility of what is likely to be deemed overpowerful by Konami, and also considering what they'll ban/unban to make more money. Generally, there are a few surprises every list.

Agents and Fairies, I'd be highly surprised if they're touched by the banlist. Frankly, Agent of Mystery - Earth could even be Semi-Limited; Agents really aren't a threat at all this format. Dark Worlds, most likely, will see a hit, because every deck must be prepared for them. Most people seem to believe Dragged Down or Card Destruction would be hit (reasonably so). Others think Grapha and Gates should get hit (which I heavily disagree with). IMO, Dragged Down, Card Destruction, or Snoww will see some sort of hit (Snoww being their searcher extraordinaire). If TGU is hit though, DWs might not need a second hit.

So what I try to get is whether the banlist is being used to actually ensure that the game is fair or if it's just a way for Konami to make money. They basically killed synchros in the current banlist getting rid of Spore and that other tuner Bulb thing which then forced people to focus more on the new Xyz stuff, meaning definite profit.

I'd like to see Agent of Mystery - Earth come back to Semi-Limited, along with Honest, even if it does mean semi-limited Herald of Orange Light and Hyperion. I love my fairies hehe!

Oh, and Limited Magician of Faith.

its a 2700 (3000 with gates)  Beatstick that can Revive itself at the drop of a hat as well as popping a card when discarded

I think Snoww is a bigger problem than Grapha.  Tons of times I've seen people use Gates, discard Snoww, see what they draw, then get another Gates if I drew a DW OR have another Snoww (or Broww) in hand.  Then they just activate it again, discard Snoww again, draw then get w/e they want (sometimes Gates number 3).  They get a billion pluses just b/c of Snoww.  She can also fetch the Grapha you think is so amazing w/o any problems.  Grapha's a nuisance, but imo the best DW monster is Snoww.
