Im not anti-technology, though, I will not be having internet, so, it's not likely I'll do a vlog. xD

Also, I'm leaving this weekend! Exciting times :3

Today is my 30th birthday.  My dad was accused of a crime he didn't commit. He's in jail and my mom can't afford his bail. Happy birthday to me, my dad's incarcerated. :/ My family is taking donations  for an attorney https://www.gofundme.com/zm6xreyn

Other than that shit, life off-grid is great.

Jeez, that's stupid. I hope that can get sorted as soon as possible. I can only offer my sympathies.

Why don't you talk a bit more about what living off-grid is like? I'm pretty intrigued by the whole thing.

Living off the grid is pretty freeing, actually. It's really simplified things for me and my fiance. It's fall now, so, we've been collecting firewood for the winter. We are solar powered with a wood stove for heat. My fiance, Stephen, got hired on our at O'Reilly's less than two weeks ago. We want to save up and buy our own land.He worked 50 hours last week. And they've gotten an override from the district manager to make him a key holder. While he's there I take care of things at home.:) I also get to art whenever I want. As soon as we start saving up, im getting a mobile hotspot so we  can have internets in the woods. :3

I'm afraid that I cannot send money, but I am certainly praying for your family.

I feel like such a leveled up adult. My husband and I are buying our first house!  We have moved back to the Springfield, Missouri area so we're no longer living off the grid.   My husband transferred here for work; He's still with O'Reilly but now he's working in the corporate office.  He went from a counter sales person to store manager in less then three years and now he's moving up even further!  (gotta humble-brag about his awesomeness)

As for me, I spent the last year and 9 months working IT for a small hospital and I'm now looking for something in that field. I have an interview with O'Reilly on Monday for an IT position. We'll see what happens.

Although, I must admit, I would love to stay at home and make art instead.
