I just want to mention that we are by no means "down and out" in this battle for online Yugioh software. Interpret that as you will.

I interpreted that in a way that makes me happy in my manly parts.

I reserve my ideas for a program that is actually being developed.

I can't wait to see the finished product of all of this. It will be well worth the wait with all the time and effort that ensui and the other dev/staff are putting into and let me be the first to say thank you for all that you have done and all that you will do in the future. It has been an honor to have been with XC as long as I have and see it grow so much. Although in the recent few years the community has gotten smaller and I haven't been around much but it is still a tight knit community with good people.

I can't wait to see the tag duel technology initiated! That'll win us over DN!

I am still looking forward to all YVDX has to/will have to offer. Is it still being worked on? Haven't heard news in a while now. The quote below is now one year old, and all.

You should see "something" before the end of the year. I can't say for sure what that "something" might be.

Inb4 released tomorrow. I know it won't be, but that'd be hilarious.

Can we have some juicy screenshots?

Also, can I ask if there's any sort of spectator feature planned? I'd love to show the game to some friends.

Will the tag team technology feature HD images? Also will it utilize a multiple router configuration/IP merge or does it automate?

YVDX will never meet the impossible expectations we'd have for it. Let's be realistic - regardless of whether ensui is working on it or not - unless it's able to transport us into the internet to duel in perfectly constructed 3-D environments, with Tag Duels and Speed Duels as options, we'll probably end up condemning the end result for Dueling Network or YugiohPro.

Not quite - my only expectation is that it will be pretty much like 9.1, except with its kinks worked out (cards not moving around randomly in-game, more pleasant deck builder), which it seems to already have accomplished. I do hope for some added functionality, some of which is promised, some of which is not.

(also turbo duels are silly)

I personally think to make everyone happy there should be
Tag Duels
Spectator
fix any and all Kinks of 9.1
Possibly Better Graphically
Automated Possibly

Just to temper some expectations that have come from nowhere...Already said there won't be Tag Duels in the next version, automation will NEVER happen, fixing every bug is an IMPOSSIBLE task.

Spectator is unlikely in the next version; although is more likely to happen sooner than say tag duels.

What exactly is YVDX going to have that 9.1 didn't?
