__--LC: So how old are you currently?
Setever: About to turn 19. Surprising, hm?
__--LC: I always thought you were into your twenties
Setever: I act like it sometimes. But at the same time, I'm surprised I'm not mistaken for a twelve year-old.

__--LC: When did you first come to XC? What influenced you to visit this wonderful land of broken dreams?
Setever: Many years ago -- probably before the time your mother had to unfortunately give birth. I was originally a member of online-tcg.com (XC's old sister site that later merged) in 2002 and joined IRC then, and naturally moved to XeroCreative slightly before the merger. Have been here on and off ever since.
__--LC: Wow, you were what... 11 years old at the time? Did your parents just not notice what you were doing?
Setever: Why would it be a problem if they did notice it? :) My parents are awesome, and have fully supported everything I've ever done. They led me through my Yu-Gi-Oh! obsession and actually paid for my Xtra account (for those of you old enough to know what that this)!
__--LC: Xtra accounts were still around in 08 iirc. Maybe even 09.
Setever: Hm. Pretty sure it was '08. That's still pretty long ago. :p

__--LC: In the 8 or so years you've spent here, what is your favorite memory?
Setever: My favourite memory is the time period where I created and co-led clans. I used to be an avid duelist -- not too shabby, either -- and really enjoyed all of the groups that I created. Really good times. Made some really awesome mates there.
__--LC: For the record; you don't still duel do you?
Setever: I haven't dueled since Pharaonic Guardian came out. I've redownloaded YVD a few times, though, and made some terrible decks just to duel a few times -- just to see if I'll enjoy it. I don't.

__--LC: Since you don't duel, what do you spend most of your time on XC doing?
Setever: Pretending to be writing a fanfiction, going to Post-A-Pic to lurk for hotties, refreshing Post-A-Pic to see if any more hotties posted pics (inf.), and troll IRC.
__--LC: Sounds like the sweet life
Setever: It's very sweet. Unfortunately, there's a lot of school and work to compete with XC-time.
__--LC: Damn school. We want more setty!

__--LC: If you could change one thing about Xerocreative, what would it be?
Setever: The content.... Where is it? You can't expect people to come when you offer nothing.
__--LC: Agreed

__--LC: Do you play any games?
Setever: Active tennis player, swimmer, geocacher, lots of outdoors. As for electronic games, I play Gunz and Rakion when I'm fortunate enough to have a Windows computer in the house.
__--LC: Wow. Do you do competitive tennis/swimming?
Setever: I haven't been competitive in some time. I just enjoy them as hobbies now.
__--LC: For those who don't know, what is geocaching?
Setever: Geocaching is a worldwide scavenger hunt; one tries to find an item hidden by another member by using their approximate GPS-coordinates. That's a shoddy description, but it's very cool!

__--LC: Do you have any non sport/gaming hobbies?
Setever: I write music (vocals, piano, editing), but I'm not too serious with that. Writing literature, on the other hand, I hold as a big priority. I love writing short stories, fanfictions, novels, poetry... it's all great.
__--LC: What kind of music do you listen to?
Setever: My musical taste is about as wide as LightChaos's mom. Favourites include Regina Spektor, ARTTM, NPSH, DCFC, M.I.A., and R.D.H.D. (Er, Radiohead -- but I felt like an acronym was appropriate after the four others).
__--LC: Do you find yourself imitating those artists when writing your music?
Setever: I do! It's really tough to listen to some songs of M.I.A.'s and then trying to write something that DOESN'T sound absolutely batshit insane.

__--LC: Keeping with the entertainment theme, what is your preference in movies and television?
Setever: I actually don't watch TV. Movies are a rarity, too. I just got a blu-ray player, so I've gotten a few movies recently.

__--LC: Do you have any pets?
Setever: :( My fifteen year-old collie actually just passed away. Thanks a lot, you jerk.

__--LC: Do you have any pet peeves?
Setever: Is -poop- a pet peeve? I really hate poop.
__--LC: Do you have any fears?
Setever: I know I'm going to get a scoff from this, but hardly. I don't have phobias; the idea of being irrationally afraid of spiders or something of that nature is so silly to me. I just don't react like that.

__--LC: What is one thing that we would be surprised to find out about you
Setever: I'm a recreational cannabis smoker. That usually shocks 'em. hah. I think very few people know that.
__--LC: I always had my suspicions... Do you have any other vices? Cigarettes? Drinking?
Setever: Occasionally drink, have lots of sex, and Ben & Jerrys. That about covers it.
__--LC: Niiice.

__--LC: Choose (while sober): Giving up your stash for a month or being forced to read everything said in #yvd for a week straight
Setever: Giving up the stash for sure. A week in there would have terrible, irreversible consequences. You don't want to know what they are, LightChaos. I've seen it happen ... six ... hundred times.

__--LC: If you could trade places with any 1 XC member, who would it be and why
Setever: Mana. One reason: Tits. (Optional Second Reason: Amazingly cool girl.)

Setever: Who -doesn't- want to be Mana? She has ti--- I mean... Yes.

Yes, it's actually the super rare fuzzy peach popsicles. We opted for the extra fuzz though, so these monsters aren't playing around with some fuzz either!

Haha, you'd hate doing something like this with me then. I'm terrible at answering questions on the spot, especially ones where answers aren't readily available or fresh in my head. Also fyi, I've been using computers for 12 years and still can't break the habit of typing with two fingers with the occasional third...I don't know what it is, it's quite pathetic.

Anyway, I liked it. A lot actually. You made fun of LightChaos a lot, that wasn't nice. :( I remembered you were quite a bit younger than me too.

Setever: Part Deux

LC: What is one IRL item that you could not live without?
Setever: That's a tough question for me. I feel like I'd be capable to live freely after being detached from all of my items. Perhaps my iPhone, though. It's my most-used device (out of probably four, total. I don't really have an attachment to items), and I really do rely on it a lot. I could definitely live without it though.

LC: Outside of your natural bodily needs, what is 1 thing that you just have to do every day?
Setever: Be alone. I absolutely need to be away from everybody at least daily. Is that anti-social? I feel as though I can't truly unwind if somebody else is around, and need that "me-time," I guess.

LC: Are you in college?
Setever: I am. I go to a university and major in finance; however, I'm considering changing it. I want to be able to do something more exciting with my life. Regardless of my career, though, I plan to do creative writing on the side.

LC: So you plan to write some books? What kind would you prefer to make?
Setever: I'd hate to just have to stick to a genre! I'm really interested in psychological thrillers, mystery novels, mythology, neurology information books -- the list goes on. I plan to give everything a go. Fiction will be my primary department, though.

LC: Novels or short stories?
Setever: Both. Gotta love short stories.

LC: Do you have a favorite book or author?
Setever: Arthur Conan Doyle is my favorite arthur -- er, author. I think he perfected his craft and created one of the most believable and extraordinary characters of all time. I would have to say his collected works compose my favorite novel, too.

LC: Since you've been posting in the poke section, what are your 6 favorite pokemon?
Setever: I'm addicted to SoulSilver. My six favourite pokemon would be: #6 - Wartortle. #5 - Starmie. #4 - Mew. #3 - Mewtwo. #2 - Alakzam. #1 - Dragonair. *Note: This list changes daily. The top 3 are pretty stable, though.

LC: No love for Gengar?
Setever: I forgot about Gengar. hahahaha. Okay, well Haunter is my #4.

LC: Which forum skin do you use? Venom or the white skin?
Setever: I use the IP.Board skin. The Venom skin is just poorly designed. I still occasionally use it, though, just so I can have some variation.

LC: Outside of me, OBVIOUSLY. Who has been your favorite XC member? Past or present.
Setever: [As you can tell by the extremely long silence on my end,] I just thought about this question very hard. I have about twenty nominees, and was attempting to narrow them down... but realized that I knew the answer. My favourite member is the one who I've been able to connect the most to. Andrew would have to be my answer. When I met him about six(?) years ago, I envied him and wanted to be his friend. Before I really had the chance to talk to him too much, he promoted me to a Global IRCop. From there, we started chatting just about the most random stuff -- and in him, I've been able to find a really great friend who I know that I'll keep outside of our XC days, however long this site lasts. I trust him more than most of my friends and care greatly if something's wrong. Yeah, I'm a pansy. It's the truth, so I apologize if my sentimental yarn took anybody off-guard.

LC: Describe yourself in exactly 5 words.
Setever: Whimsical, relaxed, lover, ignorant, hopeful, rule-breaker.
