Interview with a Member
• Celsius » Member most likely to go missing in a dark alley.
Spoiler
__--LC: Boobs! I mean, Celsius!
Celsius: Ohaithere
__--LC: You are indeed a female, yes?
Celsius: That's what I've been told.
__--LC: Ok. If I find out that you're Terra on another multi-account, I will be very mad.
Celsius: I think I'd be pretty mad at that as well.
__--LC: How old are you currently?
Celsius: Twenty. You DID see my big thread about it, didn't you?
__--LC: Umm... yes.
__--LC: So how long ago did you find XC? What made you actually come to this dump?
Celsius: I joined the forums in June '07. I liked the forum skin better than Pojo's... and I like writing articles when those used to be on the XC frontpage.
__--LC: So almost 3 years later... what is it that you are doing around the forums these days?
Celsius: Well I try to keep threads alive with spam. Succulent spam.
__--LC: Well that seems fun...
Celsius: I'm really active all over the boards and try to keep everywhere as active as possible. I post in Create-A-Card, Off Topic, Pokemon, Gaming, Creative Writing, GFX, Clan boards, etc. I try to be a model forum-goer.
__--LC: So when you're not wasting your life on XC, what do you enjoy doing IRL?
Celsius: Well, I work at a coffee shop in Baltimore. I'm kinda like an assistant manager. I open up shop most days... so that means I get up at 4 AM to get ready for work at 6. My hobbies include graphic design, Java programming, web scripting, tennis, sleeping, and the occasional snacking.
__--LC: How good are you at tennis? I mean, aside from Setever, I don't think anyone else on here plays Tennis.
Celsius: I'm pretty good. I led my team to district championships in my Senior year in high school. We played an all boys school. I played their 1st seat boy and won while the rest of my team lost pitifully. I've been going back to help coach, as well.
__--LC: and Graphic Design? Do you just use photoshop or what else? Have you done anything bigger than making strangers some random forum sigs?
Celsius: I'm not pro or anything. I just enjoy doing it. I think about 80% of my work has been forum-related. The other 20% is me goofing around while I'm bored. Not much more to it than that. Practice makes perfect.
__--LC: So what is your favorite XC memory since coming here?
Celsius: I wanna say it's the time I won an #xct and a Super Rare 'Spear Dragon' card. Good times.
__--LC: You were sent an actual yugioh card in the mail?
Celsius: Yessir
__--LC: Son of a ... all I got was XCBux... and half the time they never came.
__--LC: Do you still play Yugioh?
Celsius: Yes, I recently got back into Yugioh with my return to XC.
__--LC: Ew you suck. Oh well.. how are you enjoying it so far? What is your favorite deck to play at the moment?
Celsius: The game has changed so much. Synchros completely hasten the game. I prefer my games nice and drawn out. I have no "favorite deck" per se, but my favorite archetype would be Batterymen.
__--LC: A female choosing batteries. Makes sense.
Celsius: What I do in my spare time is between me and my soundproof basement.
__--LC: Do you play any other games beside Yugioh? I heard you did.
Celsius: I'm a Pokefreak, obviously... but I'm also a pretty competitive gamer. Any video game that you can get skillful at, I enjoy... getting skillful at. If you see me on PS3, chances are I'll be playing either Tekken 6 or Uncharted 2, but my collection of PS3 games is nearing 40.
__--LC: So like, pokemanz. Do you IV/EV train your Pokemon?
Celsius: I do focus a lot on EV Training my Pokemon, hence my guide on XC... but when it comes to IVs, I only focus on 30/31 or 31/31 on the main stats of that particular Pokemon. Getting a proper Hidden Power is a completely different story.
__--LC: What is your favorite Pokemon?
Celsius: Ampharos, hands down.
__--LC: What music do you listen to?
Celsius: I listen to Japanese Rock.
__--LC: Are you asian or are you a weeaboo
Celsius: weeaboo, most def
__--LC: I see. Do you listen to anything else?
Celsius: I DO know some older songs from this country, though. Wade in the Water is a classic.
__--LC: We covered music and games, so what about television and movies. What do you enjoying watching?
Celsius: Okay. Anime, for starters. When it comes to the rest of TV... the only series I've been following is Dexter. Currently I don't have cable, so I've been sailing the high seas looking for my television booty. Arrrr.
__--LC: To clarify, you do mean Dexter the killer and not the kid scientist in the laboratory
Celsius: Indeed.
__--LC: You mentioned snacking earlier. Are you a junk food eater, or a health nut? What do you snack on?
Celsius: I've been blessed with the metabolism of a 4 alarm fire, so I basically eat anything slow enough for me to catch with a fork.
__--LC: Note to self: don't go dressed as an animal anywhere near Baltimore.
__--LC: Speaking of animals... do you have any pets? If so, what are they?
Celsius: One dog, a black labrador. His name's Cosmo. I had a yellow labrador named Wanda, pun intended, but she got sick back in '06. I also have a calico cat named Kali that I'm trying to rid myself of. Interested?
__--LC: I already have a calico cat named "Cally". I assume you pronounce Kali the same way? And the dogs are named after fairly odd parents, yes?
Celsius: You assume right.
__--LC: What is one thing the XC community would be surprised to know about you?
Celsius: I have a 9 inch penis.
__--LC: O_O
Celsius: You'd be surprised, right?
__--LC: Yes, I would. I totally had you down as a 7 incher.
__--LC: Moving on. Do you have any fears or pet peeves?
Celsius: I fear rejection. I'm pretty big on spelling and grammar... but I'm not a nazi about it.
__--LC: Yeah, ok Hitler.
Celsius: sieg heil
__--LC: If you could trade places with any 1 XC member, who would it be and why?
Celsius: I'd trade with Halibel so I could jam sharp things into my orifices and perform seppuku.
__--LC: If you were Halibel, I'd have to make fun of you everyday
Celsius: Seppuku is a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment.
__--LC: Oh. I sorta stropped reading after orifices
Celsius: Understandable.
__--LC: Choose (while sober): Going on a date with Terra or giving up your ps3 for a month.
Celsius: Which of Terra's personalities would I have to date?
__--LC: I cannot reliably answer this.
Celsius: Then for the sake of that, I'll give up the PS3 and stick with my DS for a month.
__--LC: Thank you Celsius for doing this interview. Unlike Terra, I hope you didn't have pants on.
Celsius: It's been a pleasure, Lightie. For the record, the pants have been off since "Dexter".
Celsius: Ohaithere
