｢ Interview With An XC Member ｣
LC: Hello fluppy. Please have a seat over there.
fluppy: Oh god, not again.
LC: I think we can guess your name is fluppy, so why don't you tell us why you chose that name.
fluppy: It started out as flup. When I first joined XC I decided on that because I think I just randomly pressed keys. Eventually people called me fluppy and I didn't like it, but it just kinda stuck on.
LC: Interesting. How old are you currently? Are you in any type of schooling and/or jobs?
fluppy: I'm 18 and I'm in university studying computer science and maths. I don't have a job and never have, actually. I just bum my money off the government.
LC: How many of those 18 years have been spent on XC?
fluppy: Not sure. Maybe 4-5 years.
LC: Do you have a favorite XC memory that you'd like to share?
fluppy: There was that time Andrew left. That was awesome.
LC: That was not awesome at all. For those who don't know, what is it that you actually do around XC?
fluppy: Mostly idle and look important. I'm meant to be a #yvd SOp and an IRCop, though.
LC: If you could change one thing about Xerocreative, what would it be?
fluppy: Fire LightChaos. It'd also be pretty cool to see it as active as it used to be, though. And bring the AOL flooder into staff.
LC: Sadface.gif I thought we had something special, HA. What is it that brought you to the wonderful world of Xerocreative?
fluppy: I used to go on Pojo and add random people to MSN and ask them for text duels. Eventually one guy told me he didn't text duel but he used YVD, and he told me to check it out.
LC: HAHA Pojo! Anyways... do you still play Yu-Gi-Oh!?
fluppy: Not anymore, I got bored of it around TeleDAD format.
LC: Hurray for the nonduelists! When you're not terrifying the people here, what kind of hobbies do you have?
fluppy: Pretty much nothing. It's lame, but when I'm not at uni I'm either sleeping or on the internet. Sometimes I play my DS too.
LC: What games do you have on your DS? Do you play with any other systems?
fluppy: I mostly play Pokemon Platinum and Tetris. I don't play games on any other system though.
LC: Do you watch TV/Movies? Which ones do you prefer?
fluppy: I don't watch a lot of TV, a lot of it sucks these days, but I like The Big Bang Theory and Burn Notice. There's a handful of movies I like too, not really any particular genre, but my top 3 would probably be Trainspotting, A Scanner Darkly and Requiem for a Dream.
LC: OH EM GEE I watch Burn Notice too! Did you see the last episode?
fluppy: I'm in Australia so they air everything like 40 years after it's aired there. We only just got the middle episode of season 3 where Fiona's brother rocks up and the Irish dudes are trying to kill her.
LC: Oh that was the midseason finale here. Wow, want me to hear some spoilers?
fluppy: I already ended up reading some on Wikipedia. I'm not very patient.
LC: So what kind of music do you like?
fluppy: A lot of weird stuff. Most of what I listen to doesn't really stick to a genre. Most of it's jazz/rock/blues influenced or hip-hop though. The best way to answer this question would be to shamelessly plug my last.fm profile: www.last.fm/fluppyXC
LC: Do you have pets? PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE A KANGAROO... and mean it.
fluppy: Nah, I have no pets. I think there's a few dead bugs and shit in my room though.
LC: Ew. Since you're not scared of those disease carrying bugs, is there anything that DOES scare you?
fluppy: Heights, going down escalators and swimming are probably the three things that freak me out the most.
LC: You can't swim or is it because of all the underwater australian creatures that could kill you?
fluppy: I can't swim.
LC: I'll remember that :) Wanna take a ride on my boat?
fluppy: Noooooooooooooo
LC: I was very surprised that you couldn't swim. What is one other thing that would surprise people about you?
fluppy: That's a tough one. I'm not really sure. Lately a few people have been surprised that I'm not a female though.
LC: HAHA. Do you have any vices that you'd like to share with us?
fluppy: Ah, not really. I don't drink because I don't enjoy it. Although a "subtle" hint to what I do partake in is that my friend once smoked a Twistie through a bong (a twistie is an Australian snack chip)
LC: Ah. I've seen some of those on this side of the world.
fluppy: It'd be so awkward if my mum was an XC member and read this.
LC: Don't worry, I won't tell your mom anything.
fluppy: Lies
LC: Choose(while sober): Being prison raped or losing your internet for a full year.
fluppy: This choice is a lot harder than I think it should be... Damn. I have no idea. Probably losing my internet. I like my ass virginity.
LC: Last question. You have one night left on earth. What is the first thing you would do?
fluppy: Your mother. SNAP.
