According to my computer's various functions, winetricks no longer exists.

Also, I've been getting an error message every time I start YVD:

Run-time error '451':

Property let procedure not defined and property get procedure did not return an object

I've tried reinstalling and that hasn't solved it. I already have a few threads around a few different forums about this error (including this one), so hopefully I'll get an answer soon. (However, a new wine version was just released so I'll see if that fixes it).

Historical edit: A later Wine update fixed this issue

Hello, I've got it to work successfully on mac osx 10.6.3 using Crossover Games but suddenly whenever I use a deck other than one I made a while back, it freezes when I click "duel". No error messages, the cursor is still working, it doesn't say that it isn't responding, I just can't click anything or do anything. Any help?

I'm having a problem correctly viewing YVD with Wine. I'm running Fedora 12 with the newest versions of Wine and YVD. I appears that not all of YVD will show up on Wine. Here's a screen shot, to give better detail. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

You need Crossovers Games for it to work on a Mac. Google around and you'll see how to do it.

Now I try to start YVD in wine, I get a message saying "YVD has encountered a serious problem, and it could be caused by deficiencies in wine".

Anybody know what's up with that?

Hey, I run YVD on my Mac with WINE fine, normally - But whenever I try to update and click on the updater, this message comes up and my YVD closes:

"Run-Time Error 445:

Object doesn't support this action."

I've tried to download the set file manually, but it seems the mac doesn't recognise it as when I load YVD it says it does not have the main card list. :/

Any ideas on how I can update?

I got mine up and running on ubuntu....had to use the zip it wouldn't install the .msi file...haven't tried a duel yet but it does let me go into the duel screen...although if i hit chat the program completely just crashes but thats not that big a deal just gonna use a different irc client

can i still have SERVER duels using this? just wanna make sure

yea everything works fine....the fonts a little small and some words are a little cut off...but thats whatever probably just something i could fix in wine if i cared enough to lol

I am having troubles with winetricks, but seems like an easy fix, I'm just posting in order to leave the trace...

I'm running Fedora 13 BUT 64 bits version, so I get this message when entering this

$winetricks corefonts riched20 vb6run gecko ie6

You're using a 64-bit WINEPREFIX, most of winetricks hasn't been fixed for win64 yet.

I will uninstall the x86_64 wine version I installed and then install the 32 version... or can both co-exist with no problem?

After removing wine.x86_64 and installing successfully wine.i686 in my Fedora 13, finishing the topic's instructions and finally getting YVD to execute correctly, I'm getting the messege: "Runtime error 445: Object doesn't support this action"

I have been searching this issue in the forums and also using google of course, but apparently there is no clear solution for this error. I know Linux and Mac are not supported but still I'm posting this topic in order to find out if there is people how went through this same problem and somehow managed to fix it

I have followed the steps in this topic, and the farest I've got is to the Duel view, and everytime I click on the Listen button, YVD crashes displaying the error. Note that I downloaded the dll's requiered in the topic from http://www.dll-download.net/index.php but still this issue persists...

I run YVD from the command line and this is the message that appears after clicking the Listen button. I hope someone can decipher this and allow me to stop using windows once and for all
