Create-A-Card Competition

Well... rules...

1) Someone will be the head, and think up of a topic; "Leader"

2) People will post their card idea/s that fit that criteria the "leader" chose.

3) After either 5 or more people posted, or... a week has passed, whichever the leader likes, the leader will judge the entries declare a winner from the entries

4) The selected person will then act as the new leader, and the cycle goes on

5) If a leader hasn't made up his/her mind for a damn long time, anyone can judge the entries; but if you joined that contest, you can't vote urself as the winner


Since I was the winner last time... I'll scratch that previous idea...


criteria: Create a parasitic card: A card that degrades/drains another card to empower itself.

Example:

Draining Leech

Dark/Insect
2000 ATK / 2000 DEF

Effect: Pay 500 LP to decrease the ATK and DEF of a face-up monster by 500 and increase this mosnter's ATK and DEF by 500.

Note, it doesn't have to be ATK/DEF. it can be:

-discard/draw
-draw/put top card of deck to graveyard
-put card from deck to graveyard/put card from graveyard to deck
-lose LP/gain LP (Goblin Thief)
-destroy 1 monster/special summon (Dimension Magic)
-destroy 1 magic or trap/set 1 magic or trap (aka Dust Tornado)

Effect: When this card attacks, decrease the ATK and DEF of the attack target by half. When this card destroys a monster on your opponent's side of the field as a result of battle, increase the ATK and DEF of this card by an amount equal to half the original ATK of the destroyed monster.

If this card is set, it is immediately turned face-up in attack mode. If this card is face-up on your side of the feild while Pandemonium is not active, this card is destroyed immediately. When this card is successfully summoned you may add 1 Broach-The never-ending hunger from your deck to your hand. During your main phase, you must treat this card as an equip spell card and equip it to 1 monster on the feild. Whenever the equiped monster is destroyed, immediately equip this card to another monster on the feild (despite what phase the monster is destroyed in). While this card is equiped to a monster and the equiped monster is destroyed and there is no other monster for this card to equip to, special summon this card to your side of the feild. When this card is special summoned due to it's own effect, the ATK of this card is equal to the combined total ATK points of all monsters this card was equiped to halved.

Rulings, etc.
If this card is destroyed whille treated as an equip spell card, it is sent to the owner's graveyard and doesn't re-equip to another monster.
This card is considered an Archfiend.

OMFG, I created a set awhile back with a bunch of Parasite cards in it... You must have read it... I'll post 1...

Your card contradicts itself. By labelling "FLIP:" that implies that the following effect only applies when the card is fliped face-up, or flip summoned. It's impossible to activate a "FLIP:" effect and normal summon.

Nice, very good for an Amazoness/warrior deck. It requires a direct attack for its effect to work... though I think it should be more than 100, a bit weak, yet a contender.

Wow, a bit imba imo... first of all, opti-camouflage armor is like wow... Though at least its only ATK, and not DEF... so kinda balanced... contender.

I assume that increasing your LP only happens when its at the trap/spell zone. A bit of information lacking; is it treated as a monster card, or some kind of continuous spell or something. A bit strong, maybe 150 would've been nicer.

First of all, I doubt 16 stars would fit a card
2nd, too imba, even with that attack cost. please try to put in complete sentences with periods next time, hard to see which effect stops at where... and proper grammar, it shouldn't be "either player's", it's "each player's", since your example of 10 monsters in total in each graveyard. Sorry, better luck next time, nice concept though

omg, imba. nuff' said. it's removal and beatstick in one... remove 1 monster on their field, and increase the card by the ATK... say your opponent has Cyber End Dragon... play this... okaay, Cyber's gone, and you got a 4100 ATK leech, that almost cannot die through battle. Nice concept though

Erm... I don't see the draining/parasitic theme here... nothing is being degraded... except from its demise... nice card, but doesn't really fit in

imba... very imbalanced... I don't see y the 2nd effect (send 2 monsters on the field) has to be there, its too cheap. Same goes for the controlling of Vampires. I really like the flip card thing. Could've been a contender if it weren't for those 2 additional effects.

Thank you j3tm@verick. I must honestly say that I find this game alot more "fresh" than the other games, way to go creating it! ;) Alright, now for round 2's theme, I want something that has potential to go into decks that would want to have some hand control with a little burn on the side. Something along the lines of "Mind on Air" fits the theme I'm referring to perefectly:

Such cards have awesome potential in hand control/burn decks, awaken old cards that were recognized as crap until this card arrived (Soul Exchange, for example combos wonderfully with this since it has +1 advantage when setup right). I end my introduction to the competition with an example card of my own:

Xyphox Core
Continuous spell
Spell Speed 1

This card cannot be activated if more than 1 of your monster zones are occupied. During any of your stand-by phases, if your opponent's hand is not revealed to you, destroy this card immediately. In addition to occupying 1 spell/trap zone, as long as this card remains face-up on your side of the feild this card occupies 4 monster card zones. During each of your opponent's end phases inflict 100 points of damage to your opponent's life points for each spell card in your graveyard. During each of your end phases you may select 1 spell card in your remove from game pile and add it to your hand.

Alright, you have your inspiration, get to work. Oh, and a warning ahead of time, I'm not as soft towards rating and revealing how original your cards are as j3tm@verick. Impress me with original costs and effects.
