Some people may experience problems connecting to our network. If you do, try this command:

/server irc.xerocreative.com

If all else fails, try one of these (in order):

/server bruce.xerocreative.com:6667
/server jester.xerocreative.com:6667
/server 198.167.137.5:6667
/server 209.141.53.132:6667

If one of the above works, you don't have to try the next one. If you continue to have issues, check your firewall and router to ensure it is not blocking outbound 6667. Zonealarm blocks IRC by default; simply go to the IM Security and uncheck "Block IRC". For help with other firewalls and routers, check the manual for your product.

If port 6667 fails, you can replace 6667 with 8080. For SSL users the port is +6697.

I will lock any threads concerning this issue as this should solve it. ONLY POST if none of the above works. Thank you.


If you are using one of our web chat's you may not be able to type the /server command. Our site currently uses mibbit as it's main chat. If you feel that the mibbit chat is too slow, feel free to use This Chat.
