We're nearing the end of the new YVD improvements! Hopefully this will be the last BETA, with the next version being the FINAL (probably for the rest of time).

So, check out the beta forum to download YVD 9.0 E (beta 10)

It's hosted on my website currently since I don't have the new login info to the site currently (and/or cant access the old one)

Is the final version going to be available for mac? It appears that there is some demand for it:

As much as I doubt it, it would be pretty neat.

By "probably for the rest of time",do you mean that this will be the last yvd release ever,or just the last beta?What about x?

Sure, if your mac is intel based, run some bootcamp on that and windows :D

I cannot get the new version to run on my computer.  When I try to delete it, I get two files that won't delete because the error message saying the programs are being write-protected.  Also, I cannot log on when I try to run the program.

As much as I doubt it, it would be pretty neat.
If someone can reprogram YVD in Cocoa and do a whole new UI to fit OS X Guidelines (Mac users are picky about UI), then sure.

not working on vista ? that's a pretty bad news for me, probably my new pc will run under vista :S

if there is going to be any final release it has to work on vista, 'cuz eventually many ppl will have this OS

It works just fine on Vista, just right-click and click "Run as Administrator"

it wont work on my computer.  I have xp and its not coming up.  After it verifies my name and password, it doesnt do anything

YVD 9.0E had a lot of issues. Use 9.0 F (download the most current version). If it's not working then, post either in the YVD Beta forum or in the Helpdesk forum for some further assistance.

Dont waste your time. I've spent the past 2 days tryin to get it to work on mine, and have done everything this site has suggested, along with other searches. Additionally, now I can't get 8.6 to work at all.
