Good guide overall. Really nice touch on the card ratio, skeletons and win condition explanation. I do think it became too topical when you used your example. It does shows what you're were saying in general terms but at one point it felt like a post in the deck depot.
I'd suggest a bad example of deck building also using the Beast archetype (Like techs newbies would try to do), preferably using the same total card count.
A side note: It's good to know about the percentages but I'd like to make reference to Meyer's guide. He makes a really simple but clear point on the percentages you're getting with a 40 card deck: Ten Numbers You Should Know

Just to point out, I do believe Green Baboon cannot activate its effect when a monster is destroyed by battle and you are only able to have 1 "King of the Beast" on the field at a time. Keeping the era this article was written in mind, I would have personally dropped King down to 2 copies, then added a sangan, as you can make multiple uses of a single copy of King.
